HUNDRED FIRES: OPEN VECTOR — Episode 1 is a third-person action and stealth adventure set in an alternate Cold War.

You play as Merche, a guerrilla and expert thief sent on a mission that quickly turns into something much bigger. Armed with a katana, a pistol and automatic weapons, you'll have to infiltrate secret facilities, deal with enemy soldiers and uncover the secrets behind the mysterious Ancient Weapons.

The katana is at the heart of the game. Use it in combat, but also use it to cut through parts of the environment. Destroy obstacles, cut cables and structures, and find alternative ways through the facilities. Sometimes the best route is the one you make yourself.

Stealth gives you the chance to stay out of sight, study enemy patrols and find a way through without raising the alarm. But things don't always go according to plan. When you're discovered, you'll have to fight, escape or improvise.

Along the way, the game mixes stealth, close-quarters combat, firearms, environmental puzzles, exploration and more unexpected situations, including vehicle sections and encounters with powerful machines.

At the centre of the story are the Ancient Weapons — mysterious technologies from an unknown civilization. What they are, where they came from and why different forces are searching for them is only the beginning.

Infiltrate when you can. Fight when you have to. Cut your own way forward.
