EGGCONSOLE AGGRES PC-8801

Released in 1986 by Riverhill Soft, this title is a profound sci-fi mystery that follows a young man—the son of a space archaeologist—and his nagging, antique-loving robot partner, "Amaroid Marie," as they track down the mystery of his missing father.

The story begins five years after the protagonist's father, Dr. Dumas, a leading authority in space archaeology, vanished during a research expedition. Refusing to believe he is gone, the protagonist makes a meager living as a freight hauler while scouring the far reaches of the galaxy for clues alongside Marie.

Though they once survived a life-or-death struggle on a forbidden, dormant planet while chasing the energy of the "Blue Crystal"—a mysterious artifact fragment once embedded in his father’s right arm—the definitive truth remains out of reach, leaving the protagonist in a state of growing frustration.

This stalemate is shattered by a single radio news broadcast. Jason Cannack, a man who served as the doctor’s assistant but fled with stolen research immediately after the disappearance, has been appointed as the new director of the City Library. Sensing a breakthrough, the protagonist’s intuition turns to certainty: "He must know my father's secret."
